Pump casings, heat exchangers, condensers, valves and structural components rebuilt and lined in days in our Tuas workshop, or on site during your outage.
The situation on site
Replacement castings for older plant are made overseas and take months to reach Singapore. Flakecoat’s workshop in Tuas returns corroded and eroded components to service in days: strip, inspect, bristle- or grit-blast to bare metal, rebuild to dimension with ceramic-reinforced epoxy or urethane, machine the fits, line for the duty and holiday-test.
We also supply and support the MontiPower® tool range used by plant maintenance teams themselves — belts, accelerator bars, batteries and spares from Singapore stock, with demonstration and operator training on site.
What we do here
How we work
We inspect, measure profile and thickness, and specify preparation and coating against your service conditions and standards.
Grit-free preparation to a cleanliness comparable to Sa 2½ with a 65–85 µm profile, in place, under your permit-to-work.
Glass-flake, ceramic-epoxy, urethane or FRP systems applied by our own crews, on site or in Tuas.
Film thickness, holiday testing and profile records issued with the completion report for your QA file.
