Working in this sector
Singapore’s generating stations sit on seawater cooling and run on tight outage programmes. Corrosion in water boxes, intake screens, cooling-water pipework and structural steel has to be dealt with in the window the plant gives you. Flakecoat mobilises crews and materials to the outage, prepares steel grit-free where blasting is impractical, and applies glass-flake vinyl-ester linings that go back into seawater service for years.
For wind and solar assets in the region we prepare and coat towers, foundations and structural steel, and remove leading-edge protection from rotor blades with the Bristle Blaster® — without grit contamination.

How long does a glass-flake lining last in seawater cooling service?
Correctly prepared and applied, glass-flake vinyl-ester linings in seawater and cooling-water service are routinely inspected at 10–15 years with only local repairs.
Can you meet an outage programme?
Yes. Materials are stocked in Singapore and crews are scheduled to the outage plan; we quote the programme with the price.
Are your coatings suitable for potable water?
Certified potable-water systems are available for reservoirs and tanks; tell us the service and we specify the certified product.
