Working in this sector
Public infrastructure in Singapore is rarely closed for a blast crew. Bridge bearings, gantry steel, rail structures, jetty piles and plant-room steel corrode in the same humid, saline air as everything else, and the maintenance window is a night shift or a lane closure. Flakecoat prepares steel with cordless and pneumatic Bristle Blaster® tools that fit that window, and applies protective systems specified for atmospheric and splash-zone exposure.
Where section loss has become structural, we reinstate with FRP and composite wrap systems that restore integrity without hot work, and rebuild bearing and grout interfaces with epoxy systems.

Can you work in occupied buildings and public areas?
Yes. Bristle blasting is grit-free and, with extraction hoods, low-dust. Cordless tools need no compressor. The work zone is the only area affected.
Do you provide method statements and risk assessments?
Every project is quoted with a method statement, risk assessment and the tool certificates your safety team needs for the permit.
What is FRP reinstatement?
Fiberglass reinforced polymer wraps and laminates bonded to prepared steel or concrete to restore load path and protect from further corrosion. Used where replacement would need hot work or a closure.
