Epoxy Product Application
Chemical resistant coatings, ceramic reinforced linings, and machinery grouts for severe industrial environments.
Applications · Singapore
Chemical, product, effluent and seawater tanks and vessels taken from failed lining to holiday-tested glass-flake lining by one crew: blasted where practical, bristle-blasted where not, with no spent media to remove.
The problem on site
Tank re-linings in Singapore are planned around the programme. Every day of confined-space entry is a day of standby, and every kilogram of grit that goes in has to come out before the lining can go on. Flakecoat plans the job around the window: abrasive blasting for the open shell where the logistics allow, Bristle Blaster® preparation for nozzles, manways, internal structure and repair areas, and glass-flake vinyl-ester or polyester lining applied and holiday-tested by the same crew.
One contractor is then responsible for preparation, material and application, and the profile under the lining is documented.
For the specification
How it is done
Condition of the existing lining, wall-thickness readings and access plan for confined-space entry.
Shell by abrasive blasting where practical; nozzles, structure and repairs by bristle blasting, leaving no residual media.
Airless-applied glass-flake system to the specified build; stripe coats on welds and edges.
Dry-film thickness and high-voltage holiday testing recorded and issued with the release.

It depends on size, access and cure time; we quote a day-by-day programme with the price after the survey. Local material stock and a single crew keep standby to a minimum.
Glass-flake vinyl ester (NV6000) for chemical and seawater immersion; glass-flake polyester (P2000S) for less aggressive service and external shells. We confirm against the service conditions and the datasheet.
Yes; our crews hold confined-space competencies and work to the site’s entry procedure with gas monitoring and extraction.
